Arum has been shortlisted alongside the Building Societies Association (BSA) as a finalist for the Excellence in Training Award at this year’s Collections & Vulnerability Awards hosted by Credit Strategy.
The Collections & Vulnerability Awards recognise resilience and adaptability in addressing customer vulnerability and pay tribute to the extraordinary support and innovative solutions provided by collections professionals amidst adversity. The Excellence in Training Award demonstrates outstanding delivery of learning activities, providing benefits to clients, and ensuring continuous development and mentoring of the next generation in the collections profession.
Matt Trueman, Arum’s Managing Director, commented, “I am delighted that Arum has been shortlisted for this award alongside our partners, the BSA. It’s more important than ever that customer agents are able to deal with increased volumes and complexities in collections, and training is a critical part of this. Our course ensures that they are equipped with the care and regulatory skills necessary to deliver better debt outcomes. It’s fantastic that so many organisations have already trained their teams with us and are seeing huge improvements as a result.”
Paul Broadhead, Head of Mortgage & Housing Policy at the BSA, said: “We are delighted that the Collections and Recovery training partnership with Arum has been shortlisted for this award, recognition of the value of the high quality training provided to BSA members in 2024. The importance of such training should not be underestimated. It is vital that staff have the right tools and strategies so they can confidently deal with customers, including vulnerable people, and achieve good consumer outcomes.”
The final will be held on 12 November 2024 at The Monastery in Manchester.
