Arum is delighted to announce the addition of Nick Walsh as Principal Consultant within its Professional Services Collections & Recoveries team.
Nick has joined Arum from FICO where he was the Director for the Global Collections and Recoveries Consulting Team. Prior to that, he was Head of Collections & Recoveries for Citibank, responsible for all aspects of Citi Cards Collections & Recoveries operations in UK and India.
With 30 years’ experience in Collections & Recoveries, Nick is a widely acknowledged expert in the space, having worked with organisations across the globe to improve Collections & Recoveries strategy and operational delivery.
Andy Pritchard, Arum’s Director of Professional Services, commented: “Nick is a notable addition to our ever-growing business. He has a proven ability and flair to drive innovation and deliver results, particularly in relation to reducing bad debt charge, increasing operational efficiency and improving customer service.
“His experience covers Collections Strategy, Operations, Technology and Analytics. With success stories in blue chip companies around the globe, Nick’s skills and experience at understanding short, medium and long-term needs, and ensuring best fit solutions are implemented, will be of great value to our clients.”
Commenting on his appointment Nick said: “Arum is going through a fantastic period of growth, but it was Arum’s reputation as a trusted and independent adviser delivering sustainable results for clients, and the opportunity for me to make a difference advising the growing client base, that attracted me to the role.
“Arum’s current involvement in three major collections transformation projects and targeted strategic input for other clients in the UK and EU is great to see. It is an exciting organisation to be a part of and I am looking forward to working closely with the rest of the Arum team and our clients.”
In Nick’s long list of achievements he has also received a prestigious “Leaders of Distinction” award on four separate occasions (for over-achieving on results and providing innovation) and has worked with many major corporations, particularly banks, around the world to transform their collections capabilities.
Nick is one of eight senior hires to Arum in the last year all of whom joined from leading financial services and technology companies.
Arum recently relocated its Headquarters in Edinburgh and opened a new London office to meet the growing demand for its services.
